Meet our partner

Pastor Samuel had different plans for his career path when God called him to ministry. But now that he has seen the fruit of his years of service, he never questions that he is right where God wants him to be. As part of the Bold Hope staff, Pastor Samuel acts as a mentor, father figure, church planter and community leader. His responsibilities go far beyond Sunday morning and weekly church meetings. He mentors some of the oldest youth in our program, who see him as a father. He has been instrumental in the planting of three churches in nearby villages. His ministry has included many baptisms of new believers and wedding ceremonies for couples who learned from him the importance of marriage. His wife, Wislande, leads the children's ministry at the church. Church families come to him when they are in crisis, and he often helps them out of his own resources. We are so grateful for his family's commitment to Bold Hope's ministry in Haiti.
