I'm Jeffery Gregorio Batista

Jeffery was born in the Dominican Republic and currently lives in Batey Brador. A batey is a shanty-town camp where sugarcane cutters live. We have come alongside this Batey in Brador to help care for children. Jeffery is strong and likes to play baseball and do manual activities with sand and stone. His mother, Biviana, stays at home to take care of Jeffery and his three siblings. Her partner works in the sugar cane fields and tries to help as much as possible. The family has limited documentation.
