I'm Karlyn Elizabeth Bonell

Karlyn's family is Mayan. Her favorite color is purple, and she loves playing football with her friends. Her favorite food is rice and beans with baked chicken. Karlyn lives with her parents and five siblings. Her father lost his sight ten years ago and is no longer able to work. Her mother is a housewife who takes care of the family. Karlyn’s sister is the only one who works and provides income for the household. She also has a brother with a mental health condition that has not yet been diagnosed. Despite all these challenges, Karlyn has a strong faith and beautiful smile. She dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up.
