Child Sponsorship in Cambodia

Cambodia, a country with a rich history and vibrant culture, is still recovering from decades of conflict and political instability. Many children in Cambodia face severe poverty, limited access to education, and inadequate healthcare. The rural-urban divide further exacerbates these challenges, leaving children in rural areas particularly vulnerable.

Included in Cambodia Sponsorships

• Clothes

  A supply of clothing and shoes is provided and replenished when needed.

• Education

  Sponsorship pays for annual tuition as well as uniform, shoes, books, and other supplies. On- or off-site tutoring is provided as needed.

• Medical Care

  Each child/youth is provided with an annual checkup, in addition to care/treatment when they are not feeling well. If further medical treatment is required, children are sent with staff to a specialist where they can get the medical treatment they need.

• Nutrition

  Children in the sponsorship program receive three nutritious meals per day plus snacks in addition to clean water. 

• Safety

  Children/youth in Cambodia are at-risk for trafficking. Living on-site provides protection from abuse, neglect and exploitation that they might otherwise be exposed to. 

• Shelter

  Children and youth live on-site in safe, nurturing environments and are closely monitored by loving, live-in staff. 

• Skills Training

  Youth in the sponsorship program participate in skills/vocational training and receive guidance in their chosen career path.

• Spiritual Development

  Nothing else the children receive matters if they don’t know the truth about salvation. Missionaries and staff intentionally disciple sponsored children by demonstrating Christ’s love and sharing God’s Word through Bible studies and VBS programs.
