I'm Deborah Cruz

Deborah lives with her parents, her two brothers, and her two sisters. Her family immigrated from Guatemala, and her parents work very hard to provide for their children. Deborah's favorite color is pink, and her favorite food is fried chicken. She enjoys spending time with her family and learning new things.  Her father is a farmer who works long hours to support the family, but even with his hard work, the income is often not enough to cover all of their expenses. Her mother also helps by selling tortillas. Currently, the family lives in a rented house. Deborah dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up so she can help care for others in her community.
