I'm Deshawn Teul

Deshawn is from the Maya Mopan community. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is caldo, a traditional Belizean dish. He enjoys playing catch with his friends and loves spending time outdoors. Deshawn lives with both of his parents. Right now, his family is facing a very difficult season, due to struggles with health and addiction. Despite these hardships, Deshawn remains a kind and hopeful child. He dreams of becoming a firefighter when he grows up.
