I'm Yohana Joseph
Yohana was born in the Dominican Republic, even though her parents are Haitian. She currently lives in a Batey. A batey is a shanty-town camp where sugarcane cutters live. We have come alongside this batey in Brador to help care for children. Yohana loves to spend time with her friends and especially enjoys braiding their hair. She has 4 other siblings and spends most of her time with them. Her mother is currently unemployed and she tends to the care of the children. Her father is a sugar cane cutter. The family has limited documentation.
