Where We Serve

We serve alongside ministry partners throughout Belize. We have sent mission trip teams to San Antonio, Sarteneja, Georgetown, Maya Mopan, Cristo Ray, and Bullet Tree, with child sponsorship programs in several of those locations as well.

We have invested in building relationships with local partners, coming alongside them in their work and supporting their efforts. We've already seen the impact of our sponsorship program, with children thriving in engaging programs, families gaining access to educational assistance, and communities growing in their faith. We look forward to owning our own land so that our impact can continue generationally.

Purchase Land for Church & Community Education Center: Securing space in Belize's capital, will place us in a strategic location to foster relationships with current and future partners. Additionally, many students come into Belmopan for high school, so having a presence here will allow us to continue discipleship after students leave primary school.

Build Church & Community Education Center: This space will provide for the expansion of our programs and service of more families through our Family Development Program. A large focus will be discipleship and pastoral training in order to meet deep spiritual needs regularly. In the future we would also like to include a school here.

Additional Vehicles: We are in need of at least one bus or van, ideally two, to transport teams and staff between locations and to be used for continued relationship building with our partners and serving families in our Family Development Program.

These are projects that our mission trip teams participate in (for example, building a multipurpose center for a church, basketball court, playground). We partner with pastors, schools, and community leaders to provide a variety of support to the areas our teams visit.

Staff Salaries: Our staff and missionaries are passionate about sharing the HOPE of the gospel. They faithfully serve their community daily, and we want to make sure they are well-supported.

Partnership Engagement: Strengthening relationships with our partners is crucial because we want to serve the true needs of the community, not just what we think is best. Investing in partner relationships allows us to learn what is needed and how we can come alongside them to support their ongoing work.

Discipleship Program/Church Ministry: Our staff prioritizes the discipleship of children and families through programs and partnerships with local churches. Dozens of children are being educated and discipled through our sponsorship program - we hope to include many more and develop other resources to deepen people's relationships with Jesus!

Where We Serve

Our staff is based in the city of La Romana. We primarily serve in nearby bateyes and other transitional communities. We serve in Batey 106, Batey Brador, Batey Machena, Los Mulos, Autovia, and Guaymate.

Autovia Community Center

Complete Phase One of Church & Community Education Center: We are excited about providing space for a church and school. This building will allow 100+ children to attend school and dozens of families to attend this church plant. We aim to partner with the local church to increase discipleship and strengthen the family unit.

Build Community Well Site: Building a well will allow us to provide fresh water to 200+ households that currently do not have direct access to a water source in their community. This site will include a well, well house, and a pavilion.

Vehicles: Increasing our fleet will allow us to bring youth to the local high school who previously did not have access, continue ministering weekly in communities across the region, and transport individuals to government offices or hospitals as we seek to meet their needs.

Purchase Land & Begin Building Guaymate Church & Community Education Center: We aim to secure land in or near Guaymate because of its central location to dozens of bateyes. This center will provide space for a new church plant and legal center to help Haitian immigrants obtain their legal documentation to escape the bateyes and find better opportunities for their families. Our desire is to provide educational opportunities as well, including vocational training, Biblical training, and English classes.

Community Outreach: Our staff run weekly programs to strengthen families - Bible studies, women's programs, and English classes provide education and point people to Jesus. Providing food and medical services helps meet immediate needs for families in bateyes.

Legal Costs: We spend tens of thousands of dollars on legal paperwork in the Dominican Republic. It is nearly impossible for undocumented Haitian-background Dominicans to get proper paperwork on their own. Legal documentation creates the possibility for better opportunities for mothers and their children in the bateyes.

Staff Salaries: Our in-country staff do the work of faithfully carrying out Bold Hope's vision every day. Additional funds would enable us to increase staff in order to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve

Where We Serve

Our Bold Hope site is located in Arcahaie, north of the capital city Port-au-Prince. This is where our staff runs our programs, including our elementary school and medical clinic. Our church has grown into three campuses under Pastor Samuel's leadership, and we continue to see many come to know Christ as their Savior. Due to political instability and civil unrest, we are currently unable to travel to Haiti. Our staff is carrying out the daily work of discipling their community and serving their neighbors.

Our site in Haiti is fully operational and hundreds of people are being impacted daily by our vocational school, elementary school, church, savings program, medical clinic, and more. We are seeing the fruit of our labor as lives are being transformed, but there is still much work to be done.

Well Repair: We have two wells that often need upkeep and repairs. We can help meet the physical needs of hundreds of people in the surrounding community by maintaining these essential wells.

Site Improvements: Approximately 120 students attend the Bold Hope Professional School and 130 children are being educated and discipled through our Family Development Program. As we improve our site and expand our programs, we will be able to creatively and intentionally serve more families.

Site Security: As a nation, Haiti is experiencing extreme instability, and often, even daily activities are unsafe. A security wall, outdoor lighting, and additional safety measures will allow our ministries to carry on with more peace of mind for guests and staff.

Purchase Instruments: Our staff would like to start a music program for children. This not only aids in a child's development, but empowers them to make a positive impact on their community. The program creates organic opportunities for our staff to engage children and teens, opening the door for intentional discipleship.

Seminary Start-Up Expenses: Our vision is to educate local church leaders so they can be more effective in their work. Many Haitian pastors are unable to get a seminary education or must leave the region in order to do so. Having a seminary in Arcahaie would not only equip pastors to lead their congregations well, but enable the planting of more churches.

Medical Clinic: Our medical clinic meets the immediate physical needs of children and adults in a place where medical access is extremely limited or nonexistent. Dozens of families are currently receiving ongoing medical support, and hundreds have come to the medical clinic for treatment. We long to increase our capacity in order to serve the thousands that need medical care in the area.

Community Savings & Microfinance Program: Participants in our Savings Program apply for small, interest-free loans which they use to start businesses and eventually become self-sustaining. The group of 64 participants meets regularly to learn Biblical financial principles and minister to each other's physical and spiritual needs. We plan to expand this ministry by starting new groups and offering more training to the facilitators.

Emergency Nutrition: Having a reserve of funds available to provide emergency nutrition to families in temporary distress is a must in a country like Haiti. When families struggle to provide for themselves and their families we want to be able to step in to provide nutritional support in a way that maintains the family's dignity.

Vocational School: The Bold Hope Professional School teaches skills like sewing, tiling, driving, computers, and English to help students obtain jobs that will provide for their families. There are currently 120 students attending the school weekly, and we've seen 75 students graduate. These programs are growing, and our goal is to add more students to the school and expand our offerings.

Discipleship Program/Church Ministry: Families are transformed as pastors and mentors teach children and adults the importance of things like Christ-centered marriages and parenting. Over 130 children are being educated and discipled, and even more would be given the opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus with increased funding.

Transitional Program for High School Graduates: Continuing to support students during transitional periods of life is an integral piece of the Family Development Program. The season immediately following graduation is the point where many programs fail their youth, and we want to walk alongside our young people until they are mature in Christ and on their way to becoming financially independent.

Staff Salaries: Many of our staff have taken on multiple roles; the ability to increase their salaries would be a huge blessing. We also see a need for more paid staff, and would love the opportunity to pay the pastor and volunteer teachers at the church plant/school in the mountains.
