MISSION TRIPS TO THE CUBA
Christianity is discriminated against in Cuba, with Christians being looked down upon as outcasts. If you desire to encourage and support fellow believers, a mission trip to Cuba is for you. While there, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to encourage those who do not have the freedom to worship in public, building upon the relationships our partners foster year-round.
GROUP MISSION TRIPS TO CUBA
A Cuba short-term mission trip means visiting a country in great spiritual need. From belittlement to direct persecution, our fellow Christians face hardship in many ways in Cuba. Many people are mistreated and criticized for their faith in our Lord. When you visit, you’ll serve as a beacon of HOPE for them, reminding and encouraging them to stand firm in their faith, no matter what problems they may face.
House churches are becoming more common throughout Cuba, although it is still crucial for Cuban Christians to exercise caution as many are openly slandered for their beliefs. One way teams can have an impact is by visiting these home fellowships and talking or sharing testimonies with believers there. In addition, your group can bless our partner by helping at the farm where many programs and services are provided for the local community. You can assist with the farm’s upkeep or volunteering in programs like English-language lessons.
With the aim of strengthening the relationships that our Cuban partners have worked hard to establish, your team will play a vital role in encouraging locals to continue serving God in response to the HOPE they have in Christ. By playing games, making crafts, and taking outings to the beach your team will have the opportunity to share this same HOPE with children.
Undisclosed Location, Cuba
Our partner ministry in Cuba is centered around the encouragement of people of faith. The ministry began in 1995 when it was recognized that there were unmet needs within the Christian community in Cuba. Over the years, the ministry has grown to support many house churches in the surrounding communities. They have established a working farm, growing dozens of different fruits and vegetables to provide work and food, also creating a space where conferences can be held. The ministry also includes a handicap program for families who have children with various mental and physical disabilities, supporting them with physical and emotional care.
Cuba Hope Initiatives
Our HOPE initiatives in Cuba are programs and projects designed to inspire HOPE in an otherwise hopeless nation. Bold Hope seeks to come alongside the long-term vision of our partners to provide financial assistance as well as short-term mission teams to encourage and bolster Cuban Christians.
What makes Bold Hope mission trips special?
When you partner with Bold Hope to schedule your group's mission trip to Cuba, you receive benefits that many mission trip organizations cannot provide. For example, most organizations are unable to provide comfortable accommodations during your mission trip. At Bold Hope, we ensure that your group is given secure lodging in either guest houses or a hotel. In addition to your sleeping arrangements, we provide your group with three meals a day and in-country transportation.
Our goal in providing this foundation is to make sure your group is well-rested and able to focus your energy on making a true difference in the community.
We acknowledge how overwhelming it can be to enter a new country, especially one as strict as Cuba. That's why one of our Bold Hope team members will be present at all times for your convenience. To help you connect better with the locals, we also provide a translator to facilitate conversation.
