I'm Kenya Batista
Kenya was born in the Dominican Republic, even though her parents are Haitian. She currently lives in a Batey. A batey is a shanty-town camp where sugarcane cutters live. We have come alongside this batey in Brador to help care for children. Kenya loves to spend time with her friends and especially enjoys playing games. She has two other siblings. Her mother is currently unemployed and her father is a sugar cane worker. The family has limited documentation.
