I'm Maria Rosa Andryse

Maria Rosa lives in Batey Brador. A Batey is a shanty-town camp where sugar cane cutters live. We have come alongside this Batey in Brador to help care for children. Maria Rosa is very helpful in the home always asking her mother what she can do. In her free time, she does like to play with her dolls and friends. Her father works in the sugar cane fields. Maria Rosa's mother stays at home to take care of the children. Her parents do not speak Spanish, only Haitian Creole. The family has very limited documentation. Her parents are Haitian.
