I'm Carlos Manuel

Carlos is a very happy boy who loves playing with the other kids in the community. He likes rice with meat and beans, especially when it is cooked by his mother. He loves cotton candy, too. His favorite color is blue and his favorite sport is baseball. He enjoys riding bicycles with his friends, and wants to become a police officer when he grows up. Carlos attends Saturday Bible studies with his sisters and was also enrolled in My Only Hope school before its closure.

His mother does not work, and she has been raising her children on her own, except for occasional visits from their father. None of them have documentation. Their house is small and made completely of tin.
