Affner is from the Maya Mopan culture and loves playing football and swimming in the river during hot days in Belize. His favorite color is white, and he enjoys rice and beans with stew. Affner lives with his parents and four siblings. His family faces financial struggles because his dad is a seasonal farmer, and his mom stays home to care for the family. When Affner grows up, he dreams of becoming a soldier.
