I'm Yan Carlos Batista

Yan Carlos lives in Batey Brador. A Batey is a shanty-town camp where sugar cane cutters live. We have come alongside this Batey in Brador to help care for children. Yan Carlos loves to ride his bike and has many friends. He is quite social. His mother, Biviana, is currently unemployed but lives with a partner that works in the sugar cane fields. She has 4 children. The family has very limited documentation.
